Creating the first version of this tool was a major milestone—balancing complex, state-by-state legal considerations with the need for a clear, accessible, and practical resource. Now in its third iteration, we’ve worked to ensure the language, tone, and guidance remain timely and aligned with current laws and user needs. This 40-page print and fillable PDF resource became the most widely distributed publication in Compassion & Choices’ history, reaching hundreds of thousands nationwide. I led the entire process—from content development and design direction to legal reviews, executive approvals, printing, and large-scale distribution. Take a look.
